Full Life-cycle Testing / User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

User Acceptance Testing (UAT), often performed by or in conjunction with business users, verifies that the system is “fit for purpose”.

• Exercise end-to-end business processes
• Simulate a “day in the life” of the business
• Include both I.T. and manual processes

• Verify that the system is business ready
• Increase business ownership and acceptance by involving the end-user
• Improve business champions knowledge of the system and hence their ability to “sell” it to the rest of the organisation
